Sunnyside Recreation Area, Middletown-Lincroft Road, Lincroft
Youngsters age 6-12 are invited to let their imagination run wild as they use nontoxic sidewalk chalk to draw on a live horse. Participants will take home a photo of their decorated equine friend. Cost is $9 per child. Drop-in any time between 2-4pm and plan to spend about 30 minutes. Cash or check only.

Join us for a discussion of flowers and vegetables that were available and grown at Historic Walnford. Learn how you can experience history in your garden through preserving and propagating heirloom plant varieties.

World Turtle Day

Manasquan Reservoir Environmental Center, Windeler Road, Howell

Meet a few species of turtles, learn about them and make a turtle craft. All ages are welcome. Please choose one session.

Safari Backpack
Daily from 10am-4pm

Huber Woods Environmental Center, Middletown
Explore Huber Woods with your family and friends! Each backpack contains all you need to make your self-guided nature walk filled with adventure! Pick a backpack themed Pre-K, Forest, Meadow or Pond. Use of the backpack is free but you must leave your valid NJ drivers license with the docent.
